The PAF continues the rehabilitation and medical assistance of those affected by the floods

  • PAF is actively undertaking medical, humanitarian and rehabilitation relief operations for flood victims in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab
  • PAF Medical Laboratory collection points operate 24 hours a day for the diagnosis of prevalent waterborne diseases
  • In addition, 1,407 patients were also treated by Pakistan Air Force medical teams.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is actively undertaking medical, humanitarian and rehabilitation relief operations for flood victims in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab.

PAF personnel are providing all their support and services to provide timely basic necessities such as food, shelter, drinking water and medical assistance to flood victims.

PAF Medical Laboratory collection points operate 24 hours a day for the diagnosis of common waterborne diseases such as gastroenteritis, dengue fever, malaria, cholera and dysentery in flood affected areas. Flood-affected people receive free medicine and medical care at PAF medical field camps.

In the past 24 hours, the Pakistan Air Force has distributed 17,960 cooked food packs, 250 water bottles and 1,730 ration packs to needy families.

In addition, 1,407 patients were also treated by the medical teams of the Pakistani Air Force.

Earlier, the Pakistan Army has continued its relief and assistance activities in the flood-affected areas of Sindh with full zeal.

Pakistan Army troops are reaching all flood affected districts and villages in Sindh. People affected by the floods are receiving food and rations from army personnel. Those affected are also receiving medical aid from the Army Medical Corps (AMC).
