Milestone: Olympic Medical Center praises load review officials


The Olympic Medical Center Board of Commissioners recently recognized eight outstanding staff of the Load Review Representatives team at a virtual board meeting, highlighting their attention to detail and reviewing cases for s’ ensure that all loads transmitted by Olympic physicians (OMPs) are admissible and accurate.

As members of the WTO Patient Financial Services team, the eight Fee Review Representatives are responsible for reviewing, correcting and recovering fees for services provided by more than 100 providers. ‘OMP. Their attention to detail underscores OMC’s commitment to financial stewardship, allowing OMC to continue to provide excellent health care to the community.

CFO Lorraine Cannon and Director of Revenue Cycle Management Joanna Weber presented the awards to charge review representatives including Jenni Britt, Tracy Camp, Kelsey Campbell, Stephanie Gunn, Miranda Juarez, Alyssa Luciano, Lauraine Maddox and Lisa Shearer.

“This great team of eight is made up of exceptional team members,” Weber said. “Their attention to detail and ability to process tens of thousands of charges each year have directly contributed to improved and faster claims submission and to the achievement of many goals by the OMP. “

The team works directly with providers and their staff to educate on diagnostic and coding procedures to ensure providers and the organization are submitting accurate and timely charges. In 2021, this work identified more than $ 1 million in potentially lost revenue, a record amount with a quarter of the fiscal year to come, WTO officials said.
