Medical Center Holds Virtual Cardiac Care Prevention and Wellness Info Session

Know your numbers.

Do you know your cholesterol level, the difference between good and bad cholesterol, how to regulate your cholesterol and why it is so important? And the lipids? What are they and why should you be educated about the pros and cons of fats?

Community members are invited to attend a free one-hour information session with Anas Mansour, MD, Cardiologist, Northern Light Cardiology, on the management of lipids and cholesterol on Tuesday, March 29 at noon.

During this virtual session, participants will learn what fats are and why they are important for heart health. Dr. Mansour will also explain why it is important to monitor cholesterol levels and the warning signs of high cholesterol.

Dr Mansour says: “It’s far too easy to go through life, eat what we want, when we want and not think about our hearts until it’s too late. This session will provide you with quick and easy habits and routines that you can start that will help you in the long run. I look forward to answering your questions and engaging in dialogue to help you lead a healthy life! »

Dr. Mansour received his medical training at the University of Jordan Medical School and completed residencies at the National Health Service, UK, Deans of Oxford and East Anglia, and Riverside Medical Hospital , Ohio. Dr. Mansour also completed a fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
