Entrepreneur Hasan Süzer leads the hair transplant industry in Turkey with his eponymous medical clinic, SuzerMed. Süzer studied hotel management in college, but did an internship at a healthcare company after graduation. The two go hand in hand, however – hospitality and healthcare are both strongly customer-focused, aiming to give each customer the best care possible.
Once Süzer joined the healthcare business, he was able to quickly rise through the ranks. Due to his ease of progression in the corporate world, Süzer realized he wanted to do more, so he entered the lucrative medical tourism industry when he merged his knowledge of hospitality. and in health care.
“I first started with an agency – I was bringing clients to Turkey for different procedures with a focus on plastic surgery,” recalls Süzer. “Then I decided to open the clinic, which is much more fulfilling because rather than just directing clients, we treat them.

Regarding SuzerMed’s future plans, Süzer says he hopes to expand in Turkey, and potentially in other countries with branches in various medical fields. “We are also currently expanding into pharmaceuticals and into the area of medical supplies,” Süzer explained.
