ECPD provides medical assistance, responds to intruders

Tuesday February 22

ECPD responded to a call for medical assistance at 2.30pm in Piano Row. ECPD assisted the student in need, who also requested additional medical assistance.

Wednesday February 23

The ECPD responded to the dining hall for an attempted bypass by an unidentified non-Emerson community member at 9:10 a.m. No one was injured in the incident.

Thursday February 24

The security cage in the north stairwell of the small building was disabled by a student, who was referred to Community Standards and Student Conduct for any action deemed appropriate.

Thursday February 24

ECPD has learned that students were leaving the eighth floor of the Paramount residence hall through an emergency exit door on Thursday evening. Students were referred to housing and residential education staff for any action they deemed appropriate.

ECPD responded to the Walker Building and provided medical assistance to a student at 1 p.m. The student did not seek further medical attention.

ECPD responded to a call for medical assistance at the Union Bank building at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. ECPD assisted and the individual, who requested further medical attention.

Thursday February 24

The ECPD responded to a reported trespass in Piano Row at 8:25 p.m. The non-Emerson male was located and removed from the building and served with a trespassing notice. No problems were reported as a result of the intrusion.

Friday February 25

ECPD responded to the Tufte Building for a report of a student requiring medical attention at 11 p.m. The ECPD assisted the individual, who also requested further medical attention.
