Camden Clark Medical Center details decrease in number of COVID patients | News, Sports, Jobs

PARKERSBURG — Confirmed COVID patients also trended downward at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.

The hospital reported on Friday that 27 patients were in the hospital, 12 of whom have been vaccinated.

Three people were in the intensive care unit, none of them fully vaccinated. Three patients are on ventilators, all unvaccinated.

The census of the week is:

* On Thursday, 28 patients were in hospital, 13 fully vaccinated. Three patients were in intensive care, all unvaccinated. Three patients were on a ventilator and not vaccinated.

* On Wednesday, 30 patients are hospitalized including 13 fully vaccinated. Three patients were in intensive care, all unvaccinated. Three unvaccinated patients were on a ventilator.

* Tuesday’s census included 31 patients, nine of whom were vaccinated. Four patients were listed in intensive care, all unvaccinated while three unvaccinated patients were on a ventilator.

* Thirty-one cases were also reported on Monday, including 14 among those vaccinated. Four patients were in intensive care, all unvaccinated. Three unvaccinated patients were on a ventilator.

No one has been fully vaccinated on a ventilator in the past five days.
